About PRACC
President's Welcome:

President's PhotoDear Colleagues:

Congratulations and Welcome!

You’ve found the website for the Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising Professionals of Collier County (PRACC). We are Collier County’s independent, non-profit, 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to the advancement and support of professionals in the communications field. PRACC’s mission is to provide useful resources that help you grow personally and professionally.

Our board represents a cross-section of the international, national, regional and local company representatives that make up our membership. We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings, after-hour mixers, and annual workshops. Our speakers will challenge you to learn a new skill, educate you on how to build your business or inform you of incentives to save time and money. And, as you are learning, you will be networking to make new friends and business connections. In May 2009, we featured social media expert, Peter Shankman, at our annual workshop. In June, PRACC was invited by the Naples News Media Group (Naples Daily News) to orchestrate the Press Conference to announce their re-branding campaign at the new headquarters facility.

As of August 2009, with your paid PRACC membership you will also become a PRACC representative member of The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. Members register under PRACC and will be able to attend all Chamber functions including Accelerated Network Luncheons, Advanced Networking, SCORE and SBA co-sponsored classes, Wake Up Naples and Business After Five. As the season progresses, PRACC will work in collaboration with other organizations to increase awareness of our organization and give back to our community.

Attaining your membership is getting easier now that the membership application reflects a change in cost for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. While individual rates remain at $100.00 for new applicants and $80.00 for renewals, Corporations pay $150 and can have unlimited members attend PRACC and Chamber Events at the PRACC member rate. Once a new application is processed, members are invited to use their “Member Login” to access fellow member information and to create unique personal profiles by uploading logos and website links.

Soon, you will have the convenience using your credit card to pay on-line at www.pracc.org for your membership, registering for PRACC luncheons, and reserving your place before the workshops sell out. We will also be updating our website with photos of our Members at Work.

PRACC meets on the third Thursday of each month at McCormick and Schmick’s, 9114 Strada Place in the Mercato off 41, just north of Vanderbilt Road. It is a wonderful new venue and the chef offers a choice of seafood or non-seafood at every PRACC luncheon. The private meeting room is ideal for networking and features a local artist’s artwork or photography every month.

You will receive an email each month detailing our plans, or you can always check the “Calendar of Events” page. RSVP on line and save your place. Alternatively, call (239) 436-2105 or send an email to rsvp@pracc.org. I look forward to meeting you and helping you grow your business.

Sincerely,

Nancy Dagher
